佐久市岩村田にある円満寺は、康治２年(１１４２年)、興教(こうぎょう)大師が創建したと伝えられる真言宗智山派の古刹で、本堂は、平成２３年(２０１１年)に立て替えられました。

約３００年前に植えられた野田藤は、「砂ずりの藤」と呼ばれ、毎年５月下旬に地元の保存会が観藤会を開催しています。
